If you usually skip out on crazy Black Friday shopping — or didn’t get everything you were hoping for and still have some shopping to do, Cyber Monday is perfect! You don’t have to deal with the crazy lines and an insane amount of people, but you can still get a great deal on your holiday shopping.
It is predicted that this year Cyber Monday sales are going to be at an all-time high, especially on technology-based items, with 40 percent of people opting for Cyber Monday sales instead of Black Friday. Here are a few things to look out for when doing your Cyber Monday shopping:
- Apple is expected to offer huge price cuts compared to last year, but be conscious of where you’re looking. You will most likely not find the best Cyber Monday sales on the official Apple website. Instead, check out Apple’s official resellers like Best Buy or MacMall.
- We get so caught up buying a bunch of different products that we tend to forget that airlines usually have Cyber Monday deals as well. Last year British Airways cut fares to Rome, Venice, Rio and Costa Rica. If you are planning on studying abroad or planning a spring break trip, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take advantage of an airline’s Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals. Be sure to keep your eye out for airline deals to certain places!
- Based on last year’s success, it is expected that Amazon will have big discounts on a range of items including technology, household products, clothing and accessories. Amazon Prime members are also granted exclusive early access to all of their “Lightning” deals, so be on the lookout!
Happy (online) shopping!
